  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 cup guacamole
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 jalapeño, sliced
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish
  • Tomato salsa or pico de gallo, optional

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). In a large bowl, mix the vegetable oil, salt, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper. Toss the cut potatoes in the mixture until well-coated.
  • Spread the fries evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • While the fries are baking, marinate the flank steak by whisking together the lime juice, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the marinated steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side until desired doneness.
  • Let the steak rest for a couple of minutes and then slice it against the grain into thin strips.
