Ingredients
Scale
4 pieces (about 6–8 oz each) of turkey fillets
1 cup of breadcrumbs
½ cup of grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon of fresh thyme, chopped
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
½ teaspoon of salt
¼ teaspoon of pepper
1 large egg
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 cup of cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat the turkey fillets dry with paper towels.
In a medium bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, thyme, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
In a shallow bowl, whisk the egg until well-beaten to create an egg wash.
Dip each turkey fillet first into the egg, then into the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring each piece is generously coated.
Heat the olive oil in a large, oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the coated turkey fillets for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the turkey reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
To prepare the cranberry sauce, combine 1 cup of fresh cranberries, ½ cup of sugar, and 1 cup of water in a saucepan; simmer until the cranberries burst and the sauce thickens.
Serve the turkey fillets drizzled with cranberry sauce, garnished with fresh thyme.
Notes
A culinary delight combining savory turkey fillets and a zesty cranberry sauce, perfect for any occasion.
