Ingredients
Scale
1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
1 pound large pasta shells
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Add the pasta shells and cook according to package directions. Once cooked, drain and set aside, saving a splash of the pasta water.
Pat the steak bites dry with a paper towel. Season with salt and pepper.
In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. When sizzling, add the steak bites.
Add the steak pieces to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for about 2-3 minutes per side until nicely browned but still tender. Cook in batches if needed.
Once the steak bites are cooked, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic to the pan. Sauté for another minute until the garlic is fragrant.
Sprinkle the chopped parsley over the steak bites and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Pour in the heavy cream and let it simmer for a minute. Gradually add the Parmesan cheese, stirring until smooth. If thick, add reserved pasta water.
Stir the cooked pasta shells into the Alfredo sauce until coated. Gently fold in the garlic butter steak bites.
Plate the creamy garlic butter steak bites mixed with the Alfredo shells. Garnish with extra parsley and enjoy!
