1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple, drained
1 (8-ounce) carton of whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
1 cup shredded coconut (sweetened or unsweetened)
1 cup mini marshmallows
1 cup diced bananas (about 2 medium bananas)
1/2 cup crushed pecans or walnuts (optional)
2 tablespoons maraschino cherries, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Drain the pineapple well and let it sit in a strainer while gathering other ingredients.
In a large mixing bowl, combine drained pineapple, whipped topping, shredded coconut, mini marshmallows, and diced bananas. Gently fold everything together with a spatula.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
