1 lb of Ground beef
1 can (15 oz) of Canned black beans
1 can (15 oz) of Canned kidney beans
1 can (15 oz) of Canned pinto beans
1 medium of Chopped onion
4 cloves of Minced garlic
1 can (14.5 oz) of Diced tomatoes
2 tbsp of Chili powder
1 tsp of Cumin
2 cups of Beef broth
2 tbsp of Olive oil
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
½ cup, chopped of Fresh cilantro (for garnish)
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté for about 5 minutes until translucent. Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute.
Increase the heat to medium-high and add ground beef. Cook until browned, about 6-8 minutes.
Mix in chili powder and cumin, stirring to combine. Cook for an additional minute.
Pour in diced tomatoes along with the black beans, kidney beans, and pinto beans. Stir together.
Add beef broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and let it simmer for 60 minutes.
