  • 1 lb of Ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz) of Canned black beans
  • 1 can (15 oz) of Canned kidney beans
  • 1 can (15 oz) of Canned pinto beans
  • 1 medium of Chopped onion
  • 4 cloves of Minced garlic
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) of Diced tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp of Chili powder
  • 1 tsp of Cumin
  • 2 cups of Beef broth
  • 2 tbsp of Olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • ½ cup, chopped of Fresh cilantro (for garnish)

  • Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté for about 5 minutes until translucent. Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  • Increase the heat to medium-high and add ground beef. Cook until browned, about 6-8 minutes.
  • Mix in chili powder and cumin, stirring to combine. Cook for an additional minute.
  • Pour in diced tomatoes along with the black beans, kidney beans, and pinto beans. Stir together.
  • Add beef broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and let it simmer for 60 minutes.
