15 oz of ricotta cheese
2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup of grated Parmesan cheese
1 large egg
Instructions
In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until translucent. Stir in minced garlic, cooking for another minute until fragrant. Add ground beef, breaking it apart and browning it uniformly. Introduce the canned tomatoes, tomato paste, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper to the mixture. Let it simmer for 20 minutes to develop deep flavors.
In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, parmesan cheese, egg, salt, and pepper. Stir until the mixture is creamy and well-blended.
While the sauce is simmering, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add lasagna noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain the noodles and lay them flat on parchment paper to prevent sticking.
