8 oz sliced deli ham
8 oz shredded cheese (Swiss or cheddar)
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Unroll the crescent roll dough on a lightly floured surface.
If using puff pastry, thaw it according to package instructions and roll it out to about 1/8 inch thick.
Separate the crescent roll dough into triangles. Spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard on each triangle.
Lay slices of ham on the wide end of each triangle, followed by a sprinkle of shredded cheese.
Starting from the wide end, roll each triangle into a croissant shape and tuck the ends in.
In a small bowl, whisk your egg to create an egg wash and brush it over each croissant.
Place the croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden.
