1/2 cup of unsalted butter, softened
1 cup of all-purpose flour
2 large eggs
1/2 cup of whole milk
1 cup of shredded coconut
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

1/2 cup of pink frosting
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Butter and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
In a medium mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar using an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
Beat in the eggs one at a time, making sure each one is well incorporated before adding the next. Mix in the vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
Gradually add the flour mixture and milk to the butter and sugar mixture, starting and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
Gently fold in the shredded coconut.
Transfer the batter to the prepared baking pan and smooth out the top with a spatula.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the cake bars cool in the pan for about 15 minutes, then lift them out using the parchment paper and allow them to cool completely on a wire rack. Spread the pink frosting on top.
