9 ounces of tortellini, fresh or frozen
4 cloves of garlic, minced
1/4 cup of butter
1 cup of heavy cream
1/4 cup of fresh parsley, chopped
1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Instructions
Step 1: Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat dry with a paper towel. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 2: Boil salted water in a large pot. Add the tortellini and cook according to package instructions, generally 3-5 minutes for fresh. Drain and reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water.

Step 6: Return shrimp and tortellini to the skillet and toss to coat. Heat through for an additional 2 minutes.
Step 7: Stir in parsley and Parmesan cheese, blend well, and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Optionally add red pepper flakes.
