1 cup of dried hibiscus flowers
4 cups of water
2 tablespoons of honey or agave syrup
1 can (13.5 oz) of coconut milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon (optional)
Brew the hibiscus tea by boiling 4 cups of water in a medium saucepan. Add dried hibiscus flowers and let simmer for about 15 minutes.
Strain the hibiscus tea into a heatproof pitcher. Stir in your preferred sweetener while it's still warm.
In a separate saucepan, heat the coconut milk over low heat. Add vanilla extract and cinnamon until warm and aromatic.
Pour about 1/3 of the brewed hibiscus tea into a serving glass, then add warm coconut milk to create layers.
Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon and dried hibiscus flowers, and serve immediately.
