1 cup sugar
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¾ cup milk
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup Oreo cookie butter
8–10 crushed Oreos for topping
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan, or line it with parchment paper.
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy with a hand mixer.
Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
Alternately add the dry ingredients and milk to the butter mixture, starting and ending with the dry mixture. Mix until incorporated.
Gently fold in the Oreo cookie butter until well blended.
Pour the batter into your prepared cake pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
