  • Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, combine vegetable oil, sugar, eggs, buttermilk, red food coloring, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, smoothing the top with a spatula, and bake for 30 minutes.
