  • 1 pound of mussels, cleaned and debearded
  • 1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound of white fish fillets, cut into chunks
  • ½ cup of fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Crusty bread, for serving

  • Instructions

  • In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Add the minced garlic and diced bell pepper, stirring occasionally. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until garlic is fragrant.
  • Stir in the canned diced tomatoes (juices and all), the fish stock, and red pepper flakes. Bring everything to a gentle simmer.
  • Once simmering, toss in the mussels. Cover the pot and let them cook for about 5 minutes until they start to open.
  • Add the shrimp and fish fillets. Stir gently and cover again, cooking for another 5-7 minutes until the shrimp turn pink.
  • Stir in the fresh parsley and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve hot with a side of crusty bread.
